Sandie Friedman has taught writing at NYU, Barnard, and Princeton, and is currently Assistant Professor of Writing at George Washington University. She is also a faculty member at the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis, where she teaches in New Directions: Writing and Thinking from a Psychoanalytic Perspective. Her research interests include psychoanalysis, film, pedagogy, and writing studies. Her most recent presentation was at CCCC 2009: “Write Lola Write: Arguing With Feminist Film Theory.” Her review of Richard Miller’s Writing At the End of the World appeared in the Spring 2008 issue of Enculturation .
