Chris Mays is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Nevada, Reno. His past and present work explores the entanglements and interconnections of rhetoric, writing, pedagogy, and complexity. He has published work on neurorhetoric; rhetoric and emotion; and complexity/systems theory; and is currently working on projects involving posthumanism(s) and Kenneth Burke; complexity and writing studies; (more) complexity and public argument; and the links between rhetoric, cognitive science, and the concept of "intercorporeality."
