Phil Bratta is a Ph.D candidate in Rhetoric and Writing at Michigan State University. He received his MA in English (focus in Rhetoric and Composition) at University of Florida and BA in Cultural Studies at Columbia College Chicago. His interests are in rhetorics of activism and art, visual rhetorics, rhetorical ecologies, digital writing and technology use, and pedagogy. He has published in The Journal of American Culture and Visual Culture and Gender. Currently, his dissertation examines how the rhetorical materiality and affect of texts changes as the texts emerge in analog and digital spaces.
