Samantha Murphy teaches in the department of English at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Her recent presentations include conference talks at the Australia-New Zealand Shakespeare Association, the Louisiana Consortium of Medieval and Renaissance Scholars, and the California State University's Annual Shakespeare Symposium. She is a member of the Marco Institute for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at UT-Knoxville where she has presented her work on witchcraft in early modern Scotland at Marco's monthly colloquium.
