Margaret Price is an associate professor of English at The Ohio State University, active member of the National Black Disability Studies Coalition, and enthusiastic knitter. Her book Mad at School: Rhetorics of Mental Disability and Academic Life (University of Michigan Press, 2011) won the 2013 Outstanding Book Award from the Conference on College Composition and Communication. Her work has appeared in Kairos, JAC, the Disability Studies Reader, Keywords in Disability Studies, Hypatia, Bitch, College Composition and Communication, Bio/politics, and other venues. She is currently at work on a book about crip spacetime.
