I am a 4th year Doctoral student at the University of Pittsburgh in the English Department, where I teach, research, and practice new materialist poetics and composing as praxis and method. Before my work at the University of Pittsburgh, I acquired an MA in Rhetoric and Composition from Auburn University, focusing on the future of invention in multimodal composing. I’m wholly dedicated to the work of creative-critical practice, and, what I call, affirmative composition, which makes and composes digital and analog objects. I am currently developing the foundation and method for affirmative composition, which makes archives, remixes those archives, and always does so affirmatively. To that end, my project on murder renders itself first as an archive.
