I'm an Assistant Professor of English and the Director of Composition at Manhattan College in New York City. My research interests are at the intersection of rhetoric, cultural studies, creative writing, and music - specifically, I'm interested in how scholarship in music and creative writing can help us examine the creative act(s) of rhetoric. Currently, I'm working on a project that draws from Paul Miller's conceptual art project/persona "DJ Spooky" in order to examine the ways writers create art out of and with the globalized palette presented by our current technological moment.
